My name is Tom Korzeniowski. Much of my life, until fairly recently, has revolved around my education. I truly enjoy learning new things and much of that enthusiasm has been recognized in a number of academic distinctions and awards I have had the honour to receive.
Design and innovation have always been at the forefront of my professional interests. My post secondary design education was initiated with a technology centered approach -- a two year study of Mechanical Engineering and Management science at University of Waterloo, Waterloo, Canada. In the fall of 1999 I redirected my interests to a human centric approach as I commenced my studies of Industrial Design. Four years later I graduated, with distinction, with a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design and a Minor in Business from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada.
Today, I apply my knowledge and creative talents through a number of professional and leisure outlets such as photography. I also try to satisfy my more artistic cravings through sculpture and painting.
Although many have tried, no person can live on design alone. Apart from everything design-related, my interests also include martial arts (Kyokushin Karate, Muay Thai, and Jiu-Jitsu), health & fitness, traveling, and skiing. Thank you for taking the time to read about me. |
